How to add an email signature to webmail

Email signatures allow you to add information about your company such as URL, image an phone number. If you want to use an email signature, you will need to create the signature in any mail client you use. This includes any email clients on your computer (such as Outlook or Mac Mail), as well as any webmail accounts that you use to send email.

How to create an email signature in Horde

  1. Once you log in to Horde, click on the options icon: .
  2. Choose 'Preferences' then click Mail, which opens up the 'Preferences for Mail' page
  3. Under the 'General' column, click Personal Information
  4. On the Personal Information page, if you have several identities then choose the identity you wish to edit. Otherwise, leave the identity at 'default'.
  5. Create your signature in the 'Your signature' text area. To insert an image into your email signature, choose the image from your local folders (or use a URL) using the image icon:
  6. When you are finished, click Save.

Creating an email signature in Roundcube

  1. Click on the 'Settings' icon:
  2. On the Settings page, click on the 'Identities' tab in the left column.
  3. In the second column, click on the email address for which you want to create a signature.
  4. Click the 'HTML signature' box if you wish to use the HTML editor (images, font colours etc)
  5. Create your signature.
  6. When you are finished, click Save.

Creating an email signature in SquirrelMail

  1. After logging in to SquirrelMail, click the 'Options' link at the top of the screen.
  2. Click the Personal Information link which opens a page to edit information related to your email account.
  3. Enter the signature in the 'Signature' box. This does not have an HTML editor; if you wish to use HTML markup (such as images), you will need to manually create the HTML code.   
  4. To insert an image into your email signature, choose the image from your local folders (or use a URL) using the image icon:
  5. When you are finished, click Submit in the 'Name and Address Options' box.
